Tractor and flail use on the Embankment
The embankment was designed to include the use of tractors and flail for routine maintenance such as grass cutting. The use of this equipment will not impact upon the integrity of the structure.

Nesting birds/ SSSI
I have attached our standard response with information about why we complete grass cutting and nesting birds. Also more specific to this area we have an assent from Natural England for completing routine maintenance due to the proximity to the Humber designated site.
